LIIFT4 can be the program that will allows you to change and take off for good on your life journey to health and fitness. If you want to build muscle you can surely do that with this program.

At only 4 days a week your body has time to recover, repair and build its muscle. If you love this program you can honestly stick with it for the long term and maybe just add in some hybrids or off day workouts.

You start out in what is called the “Build It” Phase that lasts 6 weeks. Every week for 6 weeks you will be working out the same muscle groups on the same days however every workout is different which is nice to change things up.

So you will have Chest/Triceps on Monday that will either be a LIIFT 50/50 or Circuit styles workout.

Tuesday you will work Back/Biceps and same thing that will be either a Circuit or LIIFT 50/50 workout.

Wednesday is the first day off to recover.

Thursday is Shoulder day and is called LIIFT Intervals.

Friday is Leg Day and will be either HIIT or LIIFT 50/50.

Saturday and Sunday you have off to recover as well.

You get breaks in between.
You work out M T TH and F.
Your days off are weds and the weekends.
Always follow the moderate guys and if that's still to hard make it your moderated.
The main goal is not to get discouraged and thats real easy to happen.
This is using weights.
Use what u can handle, again. Don't get discouraged those guys in the screen are professionals.

6. Melinda “Modifiers are key” – I'm not a senior but have 4 herniated discs and knee/hip issues plus need to lose 30-40 lbs. I'm able to adjust the workout as needed with modifiers. I love it. There is a 69 year old woman in my lifestyle group. She's my hero!

I do Body Beast mostly now because I like to feel strong and support my bad knees and help with arthritis.
8. Julie “Country Heat or PiYo” – Country Heat is a fun one if you like to line dance! If line dancing isn’t your thing, PiYo is a nice workout too – it focuses on flexibility and gentle movement without using any kind of weights. Clean Week is another good one as it teaches nutrition in depth along with easing you into workouts. Hopefully this helps!
9. Angela “Hip Hop Abs, 21 Day Fix, Hammer & Chisel” – My mom absolutely loves Hip hop Abs. She just turned 72. When she does push play that's what she leans to. She used to do some of the others with weights, like 21 df, and Hammer and Chisel and modified when needed. There are a lot of different types of programs on BOD.
